Even if her numbers were low, she still had to ensure she had alliances with the other packs. So far she only knew of her pack and she had only seen prey and other predators around, no other African Wild Dogs as like herself, and it made her curious. Her face was a stone expression, straight and showing nothing but that she meant business. She wasn't going to do this alliance with these Alphas, or Alpha, without knowing she could get something in return. Her pack would be strong, she would have a lot to offer for this pack though what could they offer her?
A huff came from her as her paws came to the borders of the apparent pack, now knowing that there was definitely somebody who lived here. Her ears were perked and her head was held high, tail low with very slight respect, as she stood there. Her skull would move around to take a look around her, investigating the territory from a distance. It was nice, though not as nice as her territory. With a final look around, she called for the Alpha with a loud howl. After it died down, she stood and waited, her tail flicking occasionally behind her.

"Thank you, Zain," muttered Aliyah under her breath. The new meal, a fresh warthog, in her jaws was all because of her mother's new mate. Aliyah really did hate Zain, and Zain really did hate her. But soon her mother would mate with him and they would have a new litter of puppies. The thought of puppies with her blood that would be even a little bit similar to Zain made Aliyah's blood boil. Sighing, Aliyah knew she couldn't stay here much longer. She needed to get out and away from her family. Even the sounds of Kabira's puppies, Aliyah's nieces and nephew, were bothering her. Her head pounded with a head ache and she just felt like going to sleep. However, she knew that she needed to finish this warthog, which was currently untouched. She had to take it away from Zain, though. He wouldn't get any meal of hers. Not if she could help it.
She began to drag the bloodied warthog away when she heard the sound of a dominant voice, a call from another African wild dog. The voice came from the border of Validus lands, which probably weren't very strong yet because of the fact that the pack was so new. She needed to mark the borders later on, but for now she had a call to attend to. Of course, Aliyah wouldn't be surprised if it was another trespasser, but if Aliyah knew any better it sounded like an alpha. Alphess, to be exact. What could another alpha need? Did they want to talk calmly, or did they want to fight for the land? A confrontation was the last thing that Aliyah wanted, but she would be ready for it if that was the case. Hopefully, the warthog would keep war from breaking out. Of course, it could also start a war. Dogs were mean. Don't worry about it, Aliyah thought to herself.
Aliyah made her way to where the call came from, giving a loud howl in reply to let the other know that she wasn't a threat. Of course, if the other was calling to her, she probably knew she wasn't a threat. Either way, the young alphess was prepared. As she continued, she saw the other in the distance. It was a female and one with a look of dominance. Yes, definitely an alpha. She reeked of the scent of the pack beyond Validus borders. "Hello!" she greeted, her voice warm and cautious all at the same time. She dragged the warthog with her as she made it to the edge of the Validus borders, stopping with a few feet between the two alphas. "I'm Aliyah Maalik, feel free to call me Aliyah or Ali." A gentle smile touched her features as she decided to start out the conversation on a bright note. It didn't appear that the other would have anything to challenge Aliyah for, she didn't appear agressive. Besides, if she did turn, Aliyah could call for her family and the other alpha would be outnumbered.
The young alphess dropped the warthog in front of her, in between her and the other alpha. "Warthog? It's fresh," she told the alpha, hoping that she would take some. Personally, Aliyah wasn't a huge fan of warthogs, but they provided a nice meal and that's what Aliyah was really looking for. She let a light grin stretch over her sleek black lips, her tail curling around to fall over her paws. She then waited patiently to see what the alpha had in store for Aliyah, perhaps Validus as a whole.
